We are a
group of The Motor Caravanners'
Club, and we enjoy making year round use
of our motor homes
visiting various events and venues in and around
the North West Midlands and in North Wales.
Most of our rallies are weekend events, but we take full advantage
of longer breaks for Bank Holiday weekends, Easter, and New Year.
We often include a professional entertainer
for one evening and usually have music and dancing during the evenings.
The NWM&NW group was formed 49 years ago in 1963 with our first rally being held at the
Snowdonia National Park, Beddgelert, Caernarvonshire, North Wales
attracting no fewer than 60 motorhomes (Dormobiles as they were then often called)
The images below show some of the 'Dormobiles' and the forming of the very first committee.

One of the founder members, Sq Leader Norman Scrivener, an RAF pilot during WW2 flew on 60 raids over Germany.
He also flew with the same crew who formed the now famous 'Dambusters'and was awarded medals for his bravery.
Norman sadly died in May 2007 aged 91.
